Melody Hellard has created numerous puppets for a range of creative projects. She has experience creating everything from hand puppets and marionettes to large scale stage puppets. One of her favorite projects was creating a series of Audrey 2 puppets for a production of little shop of horrors, with the largest puppet being 15 feet tall. her puppet work has been featured in commercials, stage productions, and short films.

Melody aslo has been involved in many stage productions, short films and music videos as a costume designer and seamstress. Production credits include Pirates of Penzance, Oklahoma, Pippin, Auntie Mame, and Annie amoung others. She was awarded first place for costume construction at the california state thespian festival in 2019.

Costume Design 

Melody worked on costumes and created creatures for Maxwell Adventures, a series of short films by Michael Hellard that was then turned into a feature length documentary showing the process of making the films. See below to watch the movie
